The most important thing I have learned on this sports journey with my children is winning starts young.
I am bombarded with questions from moms and dads who have dreams and aspirations for their kids in sports on how to make them a better athlete. Through my father’s studies, my own research and trial and error I have learned that physical and skill development started the day my children were born. The truth is that It’s in the developmental stages from birth to 3 years old when a child can improve by up to 80% in their skills and in their ability. After that it’s truly an uphill battle. By the time parents are asking my advice, they've missed a crucial development period. A solid foundation of physical and athletic development at an early age can make the most of your child’s potential.
I want as many kids as possible to be at least comfortable playing sports and ideally to excel. Sports is one of the best ways to help kids be healthy, feel happy, stay engaged, and ultimately have a successful life. Not every kid is a superstar but if you give a child a strong athletic foundation, that child will enjoy sports and life for the rest of their lifetime.
